This 200 square meter 4 bedroom 3.5 bath private apartment is located in the beautiful Marais.
It is difficult to find the words to capture the grandeur and opulence of this apartment located in a 16th century castle. It is a registered historical monument built in 1586 as the residence of King Henry the 4th.
The entrance opens onto a large living room with a dining area, the modern, fully-equipped kitchen, and a bedroom with en-suite shower room. The living room is a haven of peace and quiet. The building materials are extraordinary-the original stone of the walls blends harmoniously with the pale marble floor. The sitting area which looks out onto the garden is elevated. The dining area is a few steps down with a table perfect for intimate dining or entertaining. Just off the living room is the boudoir - a cozy room with period stone walls lined with cushions, beautifully furnished.
The kitchen is spacious, modern, and fully equipped. A marble staircase leads to the second floor. Rooms on the second floor distribute off of a mezzanine overlooking the living room. Upstairs there is a small bedroom with a single bed, a bedroom with en-suite shower room and the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a dressing room. The master bedroom is bathed in rosy hues with a sumptuous leather bed. The master bathroom is entirely in rose marble which continues into the adjoining mirrored dressing room.

There are old stoned floors throughout the apartment. This Paris apartment is located in an 18th century building in the First Arrondisment. Formerly a hotel de particulier. it is now an historic building comprised of 6 apartments only. The building is very well located between the rue St Honore, avenue de l'Opera, and the Place Vendome/rue de la Paix. The Louvre, the Tuileries, the Embassies, the chic and fashionable shopping districts, the Opera Garnier and the Palais Royal are all within a 5 minute's walk. This building is also on the Marche St Honore. Here in the middle of the place is a large modern office center of BNP-PARIBAS. Downstairs, there is a mix of Italian furniture galleries and an Audi auto boutique. on all sides of the Place Marche St Honore are many great restaurants, cafes, bakeries and bars. For those who come back late there is FLO downstairs for carry out gourmet dining until 11PM. Just across the street is Bretanos, the American bookseller in Paris since the 1850s. Here you can find perhaps the largest selection of American and English newspapers and magazines in the city. There are also many non-English reading materials available. Superb luxury Paris apartment on the western tip of Ile St Louis. The view from the apartment is straight over the river, with central Paris right on your doorstep. It is a small village in the heart of Paris with old shops, narrow streets and beautiful façades dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. Le Marais, the old Jewish quarter, is famous for its restaurants and more recently for its shopping. Visiting the Île de la Cité, you can admire the Cathedral of Notre Dame. You are also very close to the beautiful Place des Vosges and the Picasso Museum. To go out, you have the Bastille area with its many restaurants and bars.
This apartment measures 1098 sq ft and is on the 1st floor of a building without a lift.
